Elevator Consultant / Project Manager
The successful candidate for this position will provide guidance, direction, and leadership to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget. He or she will review proposals or plans to determine schedule, funding limitations, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources to the project; develop project and work plans for each phase of the project; confer with your team to assign duties and responsibilities, and ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget. You must review status reports prepared by project team members, and modify schedules or plans as needed; prepare reports for management, clients or others; provide technical advice and resolve problems; and coordinate activities with all relevant government agencies. Some travel may be required.
Successful candidates will have a BA or MS in engineering or a related field, or 10 years' experience in the elevator industry. They will also have knowledge of and experience with elevator modernization and the elevator industry generally; planning, organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work on projects in a cross-functional manner, and interact with clients in a way that reflects positively on the firm at all times.
