ASSOC DIRECTOR C
Duties: The Associate Director of Coordination is responsible for the day-to-day management of a full team (16 individuals) of program coordinators who manage logistics as well as participant and faculty communications to deliver Executive Education programs to corporate clients around the world. Responsibilities include selection of coordinator candidates, interviewing, and completion of all HR requirements to complete hiring process. Other duties include ongoing management of team performance, professionalism, and program assignments. AD Coordination will work in collaboration with AD Program Management to collect program requirements to determine the appropriate level of support required for all programs held at Steinberg Conference Center, Wharton San Francisco, Penn Wharton China Center as well as all national and international locations. This individual will work closely with the Senior Director Program Delivery, Program Design and Management colleagues as well as with Administration, IT, and Aramark teams to ensure all Executive Education programs are delivered with high-quality service levels to ensure an outstanding participant learning experience. Establishing positive working relationships and credibility with all Executive Education colleagues, faculty, and Aramark staff is essential for success in this critical leadership position.
The Associate Director, Coordination will work collaboratively with the Associate Director, Program Management to determine overall plans for training and onboarding of new coordinator team members. AD Coordination will identify any gaps in skills, competencies, professionalism, and service levels of the coordinator team and will take steps to address these areas promptly. AD Coordination will meet regularly with program directors and managers to gather feedback on program coordinator team, and will deliver feedback to team members in regular update meetings. A thorough understanding of systems used by Delivery Team is required. Additional responsibilities include ongoing coordination with Aramark senior manager team, periodic attendance of team delivery meetings, and leadership of coordinator team meetings. This role will include some program management responsibilities throughout the year, and the AD Coordination will utilize those assignments observe and coach new team members. Ongoing review and communication of coordinator team participant satisfaction ratings received in program evaluations. AD Coordination will coach team to ensure expectations for performance and program support is clear, and team is aligned to respond to all new organizational initiatives.
Associate Director of Coordination will be responsible for ensuring that coordinator duties are streamlined in order to increase the productivity of the team. Periodic review of vendor pricing, products, and service is required. Ongoing communication with Finance and Administration, IT, Aramark and Program Design and Management teams to ensure overall successful program execution. The Associate Director of Coordination will complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 7-10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience preferred.
*Experience in delivery of educational programs and special events including national, international, and online delivery models required, particularly in a university environment.

*Ability to work across time zones (early mornings/late evenings, and weekends) when necessary and serve as essential staff.
*Ability to travel (domestic and international) as needed to delivery programs if necessary.
