Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Toulouse Graduate School seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Spring and Summer 2017 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors to perform tasks that may include but are not limited to developing and teaching graduate level (5000 level) data science courses such as advanced data analysis, data mining, large data visualization, big data analytics.

Minimum Qualifications:
MS in Data Science or related quantitative/ technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics). Candidates must be effective teachers who are willing to teach online as well as traditional classes. Candidates should have experience teaching in either 1) quantitative courses - such as, data analysis, applied statistics, or 2) information technology courses - such as, machine learning, data engineering, applications of Python, R, SQL, Hadoop, MapReduce.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in Data Science or related field, and to those with experience applying data science techniques in business, government or science settings.
