Job Summary/Basic Function:
Full-time, tenure-track, nine-month, position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning AY 2017-2018. Summer teaching is possible contingent upon departmental needs, faculty availability and funding.

Teach at the graduate and undergraduate level; conduct research in area of expertise; seek extramural funding; participate in scholarly, service, and clinical activities, as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must hold an earned doctorate in communication sciences and disorders, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have teaching/research interests and expertise in one or more of the following areas: voice disorders, dysphagia, motor speech disorders, craniofacial anomalies, head/neck cancer, fluency, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), or traumatic brain injury. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of research productivity and success in obtaining extramural funding. Preference will also be afforded to candidates with clinical certification: CCC-SLP and eligibility for Texas State Licensure.
