Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Teacher Education and Administration seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2017 and Spring and Summer 2018 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need may include but is not limited to teaching graduate courses in the following areas:

Bilingual and English as a Second Language Education (EDBE)
Curriculum and Instruction (EDCI)
Educational Foundations (EDUC)
Early Childhood Education (EDEC)
Elementary Education (EDEE)
Middle School Education (EDME)
Reading Education (EDRE) or Language and Literacy Education(EDLL)
Secondary Education (EDSE)
Educational Leadership (EDLE)
Mathematics Education
Science Education
Social Science Education
or English/Language Arts Education

Minimum Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in an appropriate field is required.
A minimum of 18 semester hours of graduate coursework in an appropriate field is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching or professional credential.
Appropriate teaching and/or administrative experience (EC-12).
College/university teaching experience.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Experience with technology integration and/or online instruction.
