The Information Security, Policy, and Records Office seeks an Access Management Analyst in support of the University's security and policy program. The analyst delivers services that control access to the University's institutional administrative data and student accounts. The analyst delivers end-user data security and identity management services; administers access privileges at the system and/or application level; and enforces University data access and account privilege policies and guidelines.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
For the following areas, the incumbent must demonstrate operational level of professional knowledge; exhibit an ability to perform routine and non-routine tasks with minimal supervision; communicate and function effectively within a team; and educate others on specific technology and/or procedures.
1. Access Management Services
a. Administration of access to institutional data and designated systems.
b. Audit of user account privileges and activity for designated systems.
c. Delivery of consulting services related to data security administration (e.g., password reset, account re-activation, access request login problems, UVa Identity Tokens, identity verification).
d. Determination of the impact of cyclical events; business decisions; and/or changes in business operations, application system and/or policies.
e. Complete and accurate guidance to administrators, faculty, staff and end-users based on a thorough understanding of internal and external security policies, standards and procedures
2. Exam Scanning/Scoring
a. Utilization of exam scanning/scoring equipment and system to develop and deliver data files as requested by U.Va. faculty and other users.
