Job Summary The Assistant Director Student Success and Training will develop and implement an integrated, public health effort to prevent and reduce substance abuse triggered as a coping mechanism by stress, social anxiety, and other at risk stressor's; increase capacity of our faculty/staff mentor program, expand our health coaching program and a new student peer education program; will help develop and oversee large scale training opportunities for community partners and regional programs. Minimum Qualifications Masters Degree in Public Health, Counseling, Social Work, Higher Education or related field; at least three or more years of relevant experience (previous advocacy and/or counseling experience); demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, Campus SaVE Act, and other relevant laws and regulations; ability to work effectively and compassionately with individuals who have experienced interpersonal violence; experience in staff development and supervision in related field.
