Degree and Area of Specialization:
Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology or equivalent is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
The Department of Counseling Psychology houses an APA-accredited Ph.D. program in counseling psychology and a 60-credit hour Master's program in counseling. The department is committed to training ethically and multiculturally competent psychologists and counselors who identify with the social justice mission espoused by the department and the discipline of counseling psychology.
Successful applicants for the position should demonstrate the motivation and skills to support this training mission, as well as:
1. Experience in the provision of clinical supervision of psychologists- or counselors-in-training.
2. Clinical and/or outreach experience with diverse undergraduate populations.
License or certificate:
Licensed Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin, or the ability to become licensed as a psychologist in Wisconsin within three months of hire date.
Serve as a Clinical Supervisor in the Counseling Psychology Training Clinic, providing clinical supervision to counselors- and psychologists-in-training.
This position may be extended or made renewable depending on department need and funding.
