The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Food Science Department, is committed to the highest standard of customer relations principles for its customers, fellow staff members, students, and visitors. Staff will serve as role models by practicing exemplary behaviors when working with customers and fellow staff members.
This position will assist with the manufacture of all products made at the Babcock Hall dairy plant. The incumbent also cleans processing equipment, floors and walls as directed by the supervisor. He/she unloads trucks and moves stock between storage rooms and the production plant. May also assist with retail sales in both the store and at other campus locations. May also operate truck (less than 26,000 lb. gross weight) in the delivery of dairy products on the local-Madison campus. Work is performed under general supervision.
This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal work shift.
The work hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday-Friday.
