Applicants will be asked to provide a writing sample (investigation report, appropriately redacted) as part of the interview process.**** Reporting to the Director/Title IX Officer, the Title IX Investigator/Assistant Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the University's Title IX investigations of alleged cases of sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner domestic/dating violence involving undergraduate, graduate students, faculty and staff at the University and its affiliates. The Investigator will work closely with the University's Student Conduct and Integrity Academic Programs Office, Labor Relations Office and the Academic Personnel Office to conduct investigations into allegations of sexual violence and harassment. When a complaint is filed by a student, faculty or staff the Investigator will conduct a prompt and thorough investigation, which includes: identifying and interviewing witnesses, gathering and securing relevant documentation, and identifying other information that would be helpful to the Hearing Panel. The Investigator acts as a neutral party in the investigation and provides a detailed, unbiased report to the Hearing Panel regarding the findings of the investigation. At the direction of the Title IX Director, and as needed, the Investigator will also conduct intake meetings, address immediate safety needs, impose interim measures, communicate information about reporting options, ensure parties' full understanding of the University's investigation, resolution, sanctions, and hearing procedures. Will also assist with outreach and education to the campus community, as needed and as directed by the Title IX Director.

Demonstrates advanced judgment and technical experience in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and developing recommendations.
Demonstrates advanced level of political and organizational acumen.
In-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal laws as they pertain to employment and EEO requirements.
Has in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures; knowledge of functional area and understands how work may impact other areas.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Title IX and sexual harassment prevention programs and applies it to investigations and assignments.
Possesses advanced knowledge of applicable state and federal Title IX laws, regulations, policies, and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of complexities surrounding sexual assault and sexual harassment cases in a college setting, including experience conducting investigations in a sensitive and confidential manner.
Familiarity with campus dynamics and civil rights law and regulations.
