The ORIEN project coordinator will join the Markey Cancer Center (MCC) and report directly to the Early Therapeutics nurse manager, to support the ORIEN project and the Total Cancer Care (TCC) protocol. The ORIEN network is a national data sharing consortium and the MCC ORIEN project coordinator will have primary responsibility for coordinating all aspects of MCC participation in this consortium, including communication with lead site office, the MCC ORIEN site PI, cancer informatics, other participating faculty and research staff. The primary purpose of the TCC is to collect and analyze patient information in the context of the biology of the cancer. The ORIEN project coordinator will work with the ORIEN CRA to enroll and complete all TCC study related procedures, including submission of specimens, administering surveys and monitroing patients while on TCC.
