The Department of Management in the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri (MU) invites applicants to apply for the position of Visiting Professor/Lecturer in Strategic Management. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Ph.D. degree in a related area (preferred) or a master’s degree in a related area with extensive work experience in related areas. ABD candidates within one year of completing their Ph.D. degrees will also be considered. Applicants must be available to start teaching undergraduate strategic management classes on campus by August 21, 2017. Teaching load and salary are competitive and negotiable. Candidates with active research streams are preferred and will be expected to work with faculty and doctoral students on research.
Key skills sought include expertise in leading edge strategic management research, proven college level teaching ability; currency in strategic management domains; familiarity with learning management systems for grade management and reporting; and collegiality in service roles. Expertise in econometrics methods is also desired.
