Life Skills Coordinator, Athletics #603210

Northern Arizona University’s Athletics Department is seeking a Life Skills Coordinator assist in the development, planning, and implementation of a comprehensive Life Skills program focused on academic excellence, athletic excellence, personal development, career development and community service. Along with developing and coordinating various life skills seminars for student-athletes including but not limited to; Alcohol and Drug Education, Sexual Assault Prevention, Mental Health and Wellness, Finances, Nutrition, Bystander Training and Diversity & Inclusion. Selected candidate will develop, implement and monitor community outreach programs, a system for Career Development that may include student-athlete internships and job opportunities in partnership with Career Services. Schedule annual speakers to address SA personal development, and participate on campus-wide committees related to student well-being when appropriate, along with communicate regularly with student-athletes via Social Media, e-newsletter. Candidate must have knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and be able to learn and use institutional software systems, and NCAA, NAU State and University policies.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, related to the statement of duties and responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
