Admissions Officer Senior, Admissions - #603204

Northern Arizona University’s Department of Admissions is seeking an Admissions officer for the Yuma Location. Senior Admissions Officer position is intended for seasoned Admissions Officers and higher education professionals who have managed a territory or territories for at least two years and can provide expertise to new staff and support the Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation Leadership Team in the management of the recruitment and orientation areas of the office.  This position is required to work some evenings and weekends and is responsible for the following: The Yuma and Inland Empire of California. Admissions Officer, Sr. will work to apply the university’s recruitment strategies to identify, recruit, and enroll qualified new transfer and first year students across all education delivery modalities (e.g. Flagstaff, Community Campuses, and Online). This individual will work closely and collaboratively with community college, adult, and first-year students, as well as community college officials, school district officials, alumni, and parents. Must be able to work independently with minimal in-person supervision.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify for this position the applicant must have a Master’s degree in student personnel, education, business or related field, and at least one year of progressively responsibly administrative and supervisory experience required (with preference given to directly-related admissions and/or enrollment management experience). Or a Bachelor’s degree and two years of directly related admissions and/or enrollment management experience. The selected candidate must reside in the Yuma area or otherwise be centrally located to the University’s top recruitment areas within the assigned territory; along with possess a valid Arizona drivers’ license or be eligible for one by date of hire.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
