Lecturer in English
The Department of English and Modern Languages at Georgia Southwestern State University seeks applicants for a position as Lecturer (non-tenure track) to begin in August 2017. Position requires a flexible generalist, but preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching literature survey courses and composition. Duties will include a 4/4 teaching load of both composition and literature survey courses. As much as on-half of teaching load may include teaching off-campus in a dual enrollment program in area high schools. M.A. required at time of appointment; Ph.D. preferred and teaching experience also required. The successful candidate will demonstrate an appreciation of the department’s teaching mission and a commitment to service and scholarship.
