Duties: The Critical Writing Program is dedicated to teaching writing and creating a community of writers across the university. The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for the Director of the Critical Writing Program and serves as the primary point of contact for those who teach, tutor, or take courses in the program. Primary responsibilities are managing the Director's and the Program's calendar; preparing materials and reports; managing travel and other budget items; handling program queries; handling correspondence and files; planning and implementing projects and events; ensuring maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment; assisting with presentation materials, grants, and proposals; coordinating applications and interviews in searches for instructors, tutors, and work-studies.

Qualifications: High School Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience in an office or customer service setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new technology; html, Canvas, Qualtrics, Business Objects, SRS desirable but not required. Prior experience with events planning a plus.
