Subject to budgetary approval, the Department of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences at University of Colorado Denver invites applications for one instructor position for the 2017/2018 academic year. The duration of the position is one year with possibility of renewal depending upon funding and satisfactory performance. It is expected that the individual will teach both fall and spring semesters in our undergraduate program in Beijing, China (International College in Beijing), depending on start date. The individual is expected to teach three or four classes per semester. Candidates should have at least a Master's degree in the mathematical sciences by August 2017. Candidates from all fields of the mathematical sciences will be considered and those with teaching experience are highly encouraged to apply.

The International College in Beijing (ICB) is administered by the University of Colorado Denver and confers a University of Colorado degree. All instruction is in English. Tuition and standards are high and the majority of students are economics majors. The school is located on the China Agricultural University campus in northern Beijing. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire (see note below regarding Chinese citizens).
Faculty hired to teach at ICB must be able to meet the requirements to obtain the appropriate visa to work in China.
