Instructor - Data Analytics and Systems Engineering
The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, Instructor. This position will teach undergraduate courses including cross-listed courses in the College of Engineering and Applied Science as assigned by the Dean. The course load for an instructor/senior instructor is up to 24 credit hours (8 courses of 3 credit hours each) per academic year, but can be lowered if the instructor participates in other activities. Examples of courses to be taught are Introduction to Operations Research, Introduction to Systems Engineering, Design of Experiments, Non-linear Programming, Queuing, and Stochastics.
Other activities include:
1. Curriculum development including the development of new courses.
2. Guiding undergraduate students in independent studies
3. Developing and teaching distance courses
4. Advising undergraduate majors
5. Participating in College and Departmental committees and meetings
6. Other as assigned by the Dean

Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or closely related field.
-Terminal degree in Systems Engineering, Operations Research or closely related field
-Teaching experience at the college level
-Experience with delivery of distance courses
