Job Summary: The School of Social Work (SSW) and the College of Public Health (CoPH) invite applications for a clinical assistant professor position to lead the joint MSW-MPH program and teach in both the MSW and MPH programs. The MSW-MPH is a rapidly-growing degree program with alumni employed in a range of health settings. This position will be responsible for serving as liaison between the SSW and CoPH, monitoring and revising curricula to ensure quality of education, teaching in the joint program, facilitating the ongoing growth of the joint program, and providing support and information to students in the MSW-MPH program. This position is for a joint, annual appointment in the School of Social Work and the College of Public Health. The successful candidate will fulfill leadership responsibilities in the MSW-MPH program, teaching responsibilities will be largely health related and at the master's level. In Social Work, areas of teaching can be in the Clinical (micro/mezzo) or Community (macro) concentration. Applicants with an interest in teaching advanced clinical content are especially encouraged to apply. In Public Health, teaching interests should focus in the areas of Health Promotion and Behavior or Health Policy and Management. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have graduate-level educational credentials in both disciplines (e.g., doctorate in Social Work or a closely related field and a master's degree in Public Health, or a doctorate in Public Health or a closely related field and a master's degree in Social Work). A doctorate in social work, public health, or a related discipline and two years post-MSW experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Applicants should possess teaching capabilities that reflect an emphasis in areas central to both professions such as health disparities, social justice, and community-based participatory research. Applicants must demonstrate teaching excellence, administrative abilities, and superior interpersonal skills. Experience with online teaching and diverse pedagogies is desired.
