University of North Texas - Administrative Coordinator I
The Dean of Students Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator I to join our team. This is a senior level administrative position which is responsible for the organization and day to day office structure of the Dean of Students (DOS) Office regarding student conduct operations. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Responsible for overseeing and organizing all student conduct files and paperwork which, relates to the Code of Student Conduct through management of the student conduct software-Maxient. * Supervises inventory of supplies, documents/ forms and equipment.* Maintains personnel, payroll and budget records for DOS Conduct operations.* Hires, organizes, assigns, trains and supervises the work of student employees.* Performs clerical functions for full time employees in DOS as needed, including scanning, filing, and scheduling of appointments.* Assists in accounting for funds expended for supplies, equipment, and personnel.* Prepares correspondences.* Prepares requisitions and approves invoices for equipment and supplies and reconciles p-card transactions each month for Dean of Students staff.* Arranges travel for members of the Dean of Students staff.* Provides administrative support for conferences and programs.* Provide support and coordination for special assignments and projects.* Follows appropriate safety procedures and security measures related to the work performed and serves as the person responsible for getting everyone evacuated from the office in case of an emergency.* Networks with academic and non-academic support offices to improve communications.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and three years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
