The Correctional Medicine Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:* Assist with providing oversight and support of the clinical operations of UNTHSC's Comprehensive Medical Services Contract with the BOP with the goal of meeting our contract performance requirements and improving/enhancing our contract relationship. * Coordinate, oversee, and monitor clinical operational requirements for our BOP Comprehensive Medical Services contracts including clinical scheduling, on-site clinic operations, credentialing, security clearances, and Correctional Network Provider and Facility support.* Assist in developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures related to the clinical operations component of our BOP and other CMD assigned contracts.* Maintain an open line of communication on all clinical operations issues with CMD Clinical Operations Manager, Senior Clinical Operations Coordinator, Correctional Medical Director, UNTHSC Risk & Quality Management, and CMD Executive Staff, as appropriate.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
