Web Application Developer
UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking a Web Application Developer. You will help us deliver an exceptional user experience to our students through ONE.UF, a responsive web portal providing access to a variety of self-service functions (https://one.uf.edu/about/oneuf). This position will report to our Development Services Manager within the Enterprise Systems development team. We expect you to be a self-starter who is passionate and excited about our UX-first approach. Through your contributions to the ONE.UF project, you will play an important role in UF's COMPASS initiative, a campus-wide effort to modernize and unify student services and systems (http://compass.ufl.edu/).
- serve as a member of an agile development team focused on reshaping the way our constituents interact with the University
- interact and communicate regularly with users and collaborate with colleagues within UFIT and across campus
- develop and test new code, document solutions and deploy builds
- perform enhancements and help maintain existing applications
- keep current with the latest trends in application development and find creative ways to get the job done

$45,000-$55,000 commensurate with experience and education.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and one year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with LESS, Angular JS, responsive web design, agile development, issue management, and API development (REST/JSON) is highly desirable.
