Duties: The Project Manager A will be responsible for the set-up, implementation and oversight of experiments for research projects at the Penn Medicine Nudge Unit including: operationalizing study protocols and procedures, managing and conducting recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow up for all study participants. Responsible for providing training and supervision to research coordinators and research assistants. Works closely with the project director and other study leadership to plan and implement study procedures, collect and monitor data and report study progress internally and to study sponsors. Responsible for IRB submissions and correspondence and follows good clinical practices for conducting human subjects research. Communicates with external partners. Manages incoming data and works closely with data analysts to ensure proper transfer of data. Oversees team in prepping for weekly investigator meetings; manages publication drafting and submissions.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred; strong organizational skills; comfort with new technologies and study devices preferred; experience carrying out behavioral and/or economic research a plus; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
