Usual Duties: Create compelling content for a range of university communication mediums for both online and print. Report, research, and conduct interviews to produce targeted news for both internal and external audiences as well as expanded features on university research, teaching, operations, and student activities for various internal publications.

Other Requirements for the Position: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing or related field. Two years of experience with demonstrated skills in the following areas: analysis, research/reporting, writing, verbal communication, editing/proofreading, graphic creation/optimization for online media, website editing and production, general messaging, quality and standards control of communications pieces. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
