Placement Range: $19.30 - $21.25 per hour

General Description: The Assistant Director for TRIO Student Support Services will work with the Director of TRIO Grant Programs to develop, plan and implement support services which result in increased academic performance and persistence, graduation and transfer rates of program participants. Position is grant-funded and is contingent on federal funding. Current grant cycle is funded through August 2020.

Minimum Education/Experience: Master's Degree (Applicants are to attach transcript conferring required degree.) Two (2) years full time work experience in counseling financially and educationally disadvantaged persons.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and community. Demonstrated sensitivity to needs of economically and/or educationally disadvantaged persons. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Computer skills which include Microsoft Office Applications or similar software. Ability to relate to diverse populations. Valid Driver's License.
