Required Qualifications: (As Evidenced by an Attached Resume)

High School Diploma/GED. Four (4) years of full time progressively responsible administrative experience. Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Administrative experience in higher education. Associates degree.

Brief Description of Duties:

The Administrative Assistant II will assist with Resident recruitment and coordinating weekly/monthly educational conferences. The duties are as follows:

  • Make arrangements for weekly educational conference and monthly grand rounds -make room reservations, order food, flight/hotel/ground transportation for speakers.
  • Assist with annual resident recruitment as needed.
  • Assist with special events (graduation, wellness events, offsite programs).
  • Serve as timekeeper for 36+ Emergency Medicine residents.
  • Track monthly meal allowance allocations.
  • Assist with resident expense reimbursements.
  • Maintain residency files.
  • Other duties as required.

Special Notes: FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
