Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $17.25 an hour.
The Center for Healthy Minds (CHM) was founded and is led by neuroscientist Richard J. Davidson. CHM's mission is to cultivate well-being and relieve suffering through a scientific understanding of the mind. CHM is a leader in rigorous, interdisciplinary basic and translational research aimed at understanding the mind and how to nurture well-being in ourselves and others. CHM communicates these findings to the world, inspires scientists to conduct further research and engages influencers to shift the culture to embrace well-being. The Center for Healthy Minds is an L&S research center with current expenditures in excess of $8.5 million, and is responsible for the oversight of approximately 126 paid employees annually. The majority of appointments are funded by multiple sources.
This position provides a variety of human resources activities in the areas of recruitment, classification, staffing, compensation, and performance management for the Center for Healthy Minds (CHM). This position is also the CHM benefits coordinator and will deliver and maintain individualized benefit information for CHM employees. This position is also responsible for all aspects of payroll processing at the CHM, establish and maintain payroll records for multiple employment types, including faculty, academic staff, post degree training (Research Associates, Research Interns, etc.), student assistants (Research Assistants, Project Assistants, etc.), university staff, temporary employee (TE) staff, and student hourly employees at CHM. This position requires excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week with some flexibility
