Under the general direction of the Office of the Vice Provost Office for Diversity and Climate's HR Manager, this position is responsible for performing a wide variety of complex paraprofessional human resources activities in the areas of recruitment, classification, compensation, payroll, benefits and related human resource functions associated with all the departments under OVPDC.
This position involves a high degree of independent decision making in connection with the interpretation, dissemination and application of human resource policies, procedures and guidelines for each employee group. OVPDC has approximately 300 student employees, 100 academic staff, classified staff, LTEs and employee-in-training staff, during the academic calendar year. During the summer the unclassified staff reaches approximately 300 in addition to the regular academic staff, 200 student employees, 30 employee-in-training, and 60 residential counselors.
University Standard Hours 7:45AM-4:30PM
