Under the general supervision of the Academic Department Manager in the School of Music (SOM) and in conjunction and collaboration with the UW Bands Directors, this position will oversee and handle all administrative functions related to the Marching Band/Varsity Band, and work in tandem with the Coordinator of the UW Concert Bands to maintain and facilitate success of all Bands. This is a much-beloved program with more than a century of history interwoven with the UW Madison. In addition, this program has international followers and supporters. This position is very visible to the public, and is one of the prominent "faces" of the wildly successful UW Bands.
7:45am - 4:30pm with great flexibility as operational needs dictate.
