The Department of Art at the University of Missouri seeks a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor whose own work may include drawing, painting, printmaking, and/or related hybrid practices.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will possess the ability to teach foundational classes in drawing, painting, and/or printmaking, a fluency in contemporary dialogue both in and out of their own discipline, and an interest in mentoring MFA students.
Appointment date: The position will begin Fall 2017 with the potential for renewed contracts and will be comprised of a 3/3 teaching load & service responsibilities.
Qualifications: An MFA or PhD is required.
Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
