Chemeketa Community College, Yamhill Valley Campus in McMinnville, Oregon seeks energetic and teaching focused candidates for one 50%, 180-day Hemodialysis Technician faculty position with a preferred start date of 9/11/2017. The instructor is responsible for instruction, including hands on and theory, classroom management, clinical supervision and administrative tasks that may include reports, and development of syllabus and lesson plans. Terms of Employment:
This is a 50%, 180-day academic position
Continuation of this position is dependent upon the funding that supports all or a part of the position
Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends
Upon hire, must pass security inquiry which may include criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered
Requires the provision of official transcripts upon hire

Chemeketa Community College is the third largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, with approximately 50,000 students enrolled from a diversity of backgrounds. $23,806.00 - $39,071.00 Annually
An Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution
Two years of nursing practice that includes one year in dialysis experience
Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Oregon
Current certification as a technician (CHT) through BONENT
Five years of recent, full-time equivalent professional experience working as a dialysis technician (recent is defined as within the past three years)
