The Department of Neurology at West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Neurologist with training in Neurophysiology (including EMG, EEG, and epilepsy).  Successful candidates will complement our dynamic program and expand clinical and research activities and join a team including neurologists, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in the areas of patient care, research, and education. The department offers patients a full spectrum of innovative therapies for diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles, which include stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, and movement disorders.  In addition to these comprehensive clinical initiatives, we have expanded our treatment programs in pediatric neurology, neuro-oncology, and headache.  WVU is certified as a Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Center.

We seek applicants who hold MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted) with fellowship training or experience in neurophysiology at the time of employment, strong clinical skills, interest in clinical research programs and commitment to our educational mission. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.
