Lead Custodian (PM)
The basic function of this position is to monitor and coordinate the activities of the part-time custodians. This position is a working supervisor. The custodian supervisor is directly responsible to the Manager of Buildings and Grounds.
Verify that all areas of the Sugar Grove Campus buildings are adequately staffed daily to accomplish all tasks noted on "custodian's duties schedule".
Plan for and execute semi-annual and annual tasks as noted on "custodian's duties schedule".
Recommend staffing changes or dismissals of part-time custodians as performance dictates to the Manager of Buildings and Grounds.
Monitor custodial supply inventory and request additional stock as required and verify all inventory is kept in a neat and orderly manner.
Coordinate extra cleaning/setups as required due to special needs at the Sugar Grove Campus.
Train all new part-time custodians as required in both the particulars of performing required tasks and the expectations of the college.

Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three years successful employment in a custodial position.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
Ability to make related decisions without immediate supervision.
Ability to lift 80 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and kneeling.
Bilingual Spanish/English desired.
