University of Virginia's Department of Parking and Transportation, Health System Parking Operations is currently searching for a reliable, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant.
This position holds general customer service responsibilities which includes providing front-line customer service via answering phones, interfacing with customer and inventory management systems, creating/printing and distribution of applicable parking permits, creating and maintaining parking waitlists, general data entry, and assisting with parking enforcement efforts. Other support may include coverage of parking lot and garage booths, directing traffic, and serving in the field during major events.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and time management skills; Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; Must be detail oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment; Ability to use basic accounting skills; Effective verbal and written communication skills (in the English language); and ability to use appropriate e-mail and telephone etiquette.
