Position: Administrative Support - Intermediate

Nature of Work
This position is responsible for greeting visitors and students to the COE Dean’s Office, in person and on the phone. In addition, the position will manage clerical duties to keep the main reception running smoothly and efficiently. Duties will include maintaining inventory for building keys, coordinating course evaluations, maintaining the Dean’s Office calendar, and handling all custodial issues. Some administrative support to the 3 assistant deans, and notary services is required, as well as other duties as assigned.
High school diploma and at least two year’s administrative experience. Must have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software (Microsoft Office preferred). Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task and perform well in a fast paced environment. This position will apply for the Notary Public designation upon hire if not already a NP.
Working knowledge of Banner and Tk20 preferred.
$12.94 minimum - $17.85 midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Must be able to navigate stairs. Lift up to 20 lbs. and move light furniture.
