The Department of Surgery at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty appointment in head and neck surgery in the Division of Otolaryngology. Appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor; rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Opportunities will be available to collaborate with colleagues in the George Washington Cancer Center that brings together the resources of the University, the GWU Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital to expand our research efforts and strengthen our place as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications:

At the time of appointment applicants must be Board eligible or Board certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and be enrolled in, or have completed, a one- year post-graduate fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology with Microvascular Reconstruction. Eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and or Maryland is also required. A strong background and interest in clinical research, demonstrated by scholarly publications or works in progress, teaching, demonstrated by teaching evaluations, and clinical care, demonstrated by experience, training, and references, are required.
