DIRECTOR FOR OPERATIONS AND ENGINEERING
Duties: The Director for Operations and Engineering is responsible for the management of facilities maintenance, repairs, utilities operations, housekeeping and building operations at the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM). Area of responsibility includes all PSOM main campus facilities, the Smilow Center for Translational Research, the Jordan Medical Education Center and laboratory programs in PCAM South Tower, and the Translational Research Laboratory This position reports to the Executive Director of Space Planning & Operations, PSOM. The Director applies sound management and engineering practices to ensure optimum operation of all building systems, capital equipment and infrastructure, cleanliness, and environmental standards and safety; and in so doing, supports the overall mission of the Perelman School of Medicine. This position is considered 'essential.'
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field and a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Professional Engineer preferred.
