Research Manager

Job Summary: The Research Manager provides key biographical and financial information about alumni, parents, and friends of the University that is useful to the University'advancement personnel as they create donation strategies and cultivate and solicit donors. Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Research Manager is a key member of the fundraising team, working closely with staff of the Institutional Advancement Office who are actively seeking major gifts from individuals.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Three or more years of previous prospect research experience, preferably in higher education Knowledge of Raiser's Edge and Research Point. #CB

Working Hours:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 3+ years of experience prospect research experience, preferably in higher education Bachelor's Degree Knowledge of Raiser's Edge and Research Point. Well-developed writing and research skills and excellent computer skills, including a superior knowledge of Microsoft applications. Knowledge of internet search strategies and familiarity with online subscription services such as LexisNexis. Ability to gather, manipulate, retrieve, analyze, and synthesize information from a variety of sources. Previous experience working with gift pyramids. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and high comfort level with meeting short deadlines. In-depth knowledge of Raiser's Edge and Research Point required.
