Job Summary The White Lab is seeking a full-time research technician to help explore the mechanisms driving the evolution of sex chromosomes in the threespine stickleback fish. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting evolutionary genomics projects using a combination of molecular and bioinformatic techniques. The position will include maintaining the fish facility, assisting in several genomics research projects, stocking and organizing lab supplies, and training of new lab members. In addition, the successful candidate will regularly present in laboratory meetings. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and no experience or equivalent combination required. Area-specific certification may be required and training will be provided as appropriate (i.e. UGA HazMat training).
