Job Description: East Carolina University invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position for an entry-level Master of Science Occupational Therapy program to which 26 students are admitted each fall. Faculty member responsibilities include teaching graduate courses on pediatrics and/or human development, advising graduate students in research projects and/or theses, actively engaging in research, and participating in service projects at the university and professional levels. The Department has five dedicated labs with ample equipment/supplies and is one of nine departments in the College of Allied Health Sciences. Laupus Health Science Library is housed in the College and provides a librarian dedicated to supporting Allied Health students and faculty in scholarly work. All classrooms are technology-enhanced (e.g., SMART devices, video capture). The College is within the Division of Health Sciences, along with medicine, nursing, and dentistry. It is adjacent to a 900-bed, level-1 trauma center which offers multiple opportunities to partner with their practitioners. East Carolina University, with 29,000 students, is located in Greenville, North Carolina (population of 89,000) and is 90 miles from Research Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) or the Crystal Coast.

Minimum Qualifications: Occupational therapist with an earned post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy or a related field (PhD, ScD, EdD, DHSc, DSc, OTD, DrOT) Five years of clinical experience which includes pediatrics Eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the state of North Carolina.
