Job Description

Looking for an experienced development and grant individual to join a compelling mission and growing origination. Lower Lights Christian Health Center is looking for a Development Manager who will be part of a team assisting with grant writing and management, fundraising efforts and marketing initiatives. The Development Manager is a member of our mid-management team and reports to the Senior Director of Development and Communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
  • A minimum of three years of experience in writing grants, conducting research, tracking grant proposals, and managing associated databases
  • Prior nonprofit development experience is highly desirable
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of social media required
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of the community's culture
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of people
  • Ability to manage time and motivate oneself
  • Maintains a high degree of integrity in dealing with confidential donor information
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as required by the position
  • Prior donor management and software experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for LLCHC's mission and patients
