Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required, preferable in biology or related field. Candidates with a Master's degree preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

One to two years of experience in immunology, small animal models, and bacteriology preferred.

Title assignment determined by years of relevant work experience. For the senior level position, a minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment.



Position Summary:

The Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology Laboratory is seeking an individual to join our exciting and fast-paced research team to perform research experiments aimed at examining laryngeal biology. The ideal candidate will have a background in immunology, small animal models, and bacteriology. Experience in flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blotting , quantitative PCR, and Immunohistochemical/Immunofluorescent analysis are preferential.

Successful applicants will be energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, will have excellent organizational skills, and will be capable of working with a team to design and execute experiments.
