Night Warehouse Supervisor
Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, loading and delivering alcohol beverage products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspects warehouse facilities and equipment and recommends changes in allocation of space, storing, and loading procedures.
Assists in planing pickup and delivery schedules for delivery drivers.
Investigates complaints involving such matters as damaged items, misshipments, and delay in shipment, and makes necessary adjustment.
Examines items to be moved, to ascertain approximate weights and type of loading required.
Directly supervises 6 to 10 employees in the Warehouse (Nights). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
