This position works on weekends from 8:00 am-4:30pm Performs the daily par inventory of assigned departments and restocking of various par levels throughout the facility using PMM. Responsible for maintaining all supply areas, par level carts and/or automated dispensing supply systems in a clean, neat and orderly fashion. All supply shelves and bins should be labeled with the appropriate par levels. Responsible for daily monitoring, collection, cleaning and distribution of all patient reusable equipment. Reports any broken or damaged equipment. Responsible for placing all supplies away in their correct locations within the inventory location. Responsible for the maintenance of the crash carts as outlined in the CS policy and procedure. Verify and report all noted item quantity discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator or Central Supply manager. Performs annual inventory count and responsible for daily cycle count. Assist with the loading and unloading of the department’s delivery truck and bring all supplies and or equipment into the department. Use of a pallet jack may be required. Responsible for assuring that all work areas and storage areas are maintained in a safe and proper appearance. Minimum Qualifications:High School graduate. Must be computer literate. One year previous warehouse or hospital supply department experience preferred. Previous experience using point-of-use supply distribution systems preferred. Previous experience with an automated inventory management system preferred. Physical Demands:This position requires normal pushing; lifting and moving of equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. prolonged periods of sitting or standing may be required Apply online.
