Job Description: The Lorry I. Lokey School of Business and Public Policy at Mills College seeks a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Socially Responsible Business for the 2017-2018and 2018-2019academic years. The Lokey School is actively pursuing AACSB accreditation and is launching an undergraduate Business Administration major in Fall 2017 to complement the College's liberal arts offerings. The Fellow will have the opportunity to:
    	
  • Build teaching experience through practice, support from the College's Center for Teaching and Scholarship, and mentorship from experienced Lokey School faculty.

  • Build a portfolio of publishable research
  • 	
  • Enhance network through Lokey School, Mills, and community connections.
  • 	
  • Live in the vibrant city of Oakland, a hub of social enterprise and innovation near Berkeley, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley.
The Fellow will be expected to provide the following services to Mills College and the Lokey School:
    	
  • Teach three courses per academic year, including a course in Socially Responsible Business and two additional courses determined based on the Fellow's interests and expertise.
  • 	
  • Provide advising for Lokey students in socially responsible business and other areas of expertise, and serve as a resource on issues of social responsibility for the Mills College and Lokey School communities.
  • 	
  • Conduct publishable research.
Requirements: This position requires an earned doctorate in business or related field and expertise in socially responsible business. Preference will be given to those whose doctorates have been completed since July 2015; ABDs will be considered. Additional Information: This position is a 10-month contract for two years, August 2017 -May 2018 and August 2018 - May 2019. There is a $50,000/annum salary plus benefits and research support.
