General Summary of Position:
The Athletic Team Services Manager is responsible for the purchasing, retention and maintenance of athletic equipment and supplies for all intercollegiate athletic programs with primary responsibilities working at the Costello Athletic Center.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Order equipment for all sports and establish processes to receive and examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices. Serve as the primary liaison to apparel and equipment supplier for the department.
2. Maintain inventory and develop effective equipment distribution and return procedures. Assist in budgeting process to forecast needs of future equipment purchases for all intercollegiate programs.
3. Overseeing the proper daily maintenance of athletic equipment to include laundry and storage of practice and game uniforms based on intercollegiate team schedules.
4. Serve as event manager at assigned intercollegiate athletic events and assist with logistical support as needed at Athletic Facilities.
5. Responsible for the hiring, scheduling and supervision of Equipment Student Staff.

OTHER JOB DUTIES:
1. Performs other related duties as assigned.
2.Coordinate ground transportation for athletic teams to and from campus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Frequent nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-Bachelor's Degree
-1-3 Years' experience working in an intercollegiate athletic setting
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
-Ability to communicate effectively with students, coaches, staff and alumni

Other Considerations:
-Ability to work cooperatively with departmental and university staff, with vendors, and with the general public
-Previous experience working in an Athletic Equipment Room is preferable
-A job offer for this position is contingent upon a satisfactory response to a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check and review
