Provide advanced administrative support for the Office of the Chancellor, including the Chief of Staff to the Chancellor and the Chancellor. Manage correspondence, donor relations, and provide a range of advanced administrative and programmatic support to staff in the Chancellor's Office. Assist with the management of office fiscal operations, including tracking and administering non-state funds distributed by the Chancellor. Provide committee support and other special research tasks associated with the work of the office. Provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff to the Provost on select projects.
By the very nature and location of this position, the individual in this position is privy to confidential records and conversations that directly affect the employer-employee relationship referred to in s.111.81(15) Wis. Stats. As chief executive officer of the university, the Chancellor is responsible for and involved in management decisions and strategies that affect the bargaining process, employee organization and represented employees on the campus. The incumbent, therefore, is privy to materials, information and discussions directly related to these areas.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
