Associate Dean College of Business (Faculty)

The J. Whitney Bunting College of Business offers a first-rate, student-centered business education with a full array of AACSB-accredited academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Dean is to supervise the internal operations of the College of Business. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean of the College. This is a twelve-month, full-time-administrative position.


Qualifications:  Earned doctoral degree in an academic discipline offered at Georgia College and sufficient academic and scholarly achievement to be eligible for appointment as a tenured Professor associated with a current academic discipline at the University.

Preferences:  The unit is especially interested in candidates who can work collegially and effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and whose experience, research, teaching, and service can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.

Hiring preference will be given to faculty who demonstrate an understanding of the University’s mission and who are enthusiastic about working closely with high-achieving students within an academic community dedicated to the advancement of knowledge through learning and scholarship.
