Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Counseling Center, the Staff Psychologist/Outreach Coordinator provides the overall management and leadership of the Wellness and Outreach program for the Chicago and Schaumburg campuses. The Staff Psychologist/Outreach Coordinator will establish and maintain collaborative relationships across the university through involvement in meetings and committees. They will manage the Peer Advocate program through supervising the student advocates in their wellness initiatives and oversee the Counseling Center internet and printed marketing materials. In addition to the administrative roles outlined above, the Staff Psychologist/Outreach Coordinator is a licensed clinical psychologist who fulfills the broad range of staff psychologist roles in the Counseling Center, which include: providing clinical and consultative services; delivering wellness/outreach programming; and providing training and clinical supervision to pre- and post- doctoral psychology trainees.

Working Hours:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: A PhD or Psy.D. degree is required. A minimum of 1 year postdoctoral experience in the clinical areas of assessment, therapy, and crisis management. Experience in training; supervision and mentoring; consultation; administration; program development, and presentation required. Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A positive and professional demeanor is a must. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
