About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: Research Specialist 1: Conduct clinical research in obstetrics. The responsibilities will include data acquisition, data entry, data mining and data maintenance for the ongoing clinical projects. Will also be responsible for consenting patients and tracking study subjects as well as collection and processing of biological samples. Will help PI in new study designs, creating new databases, study implementation, ethics committee communications, group collaborations and problem solving.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the research being conducted required.

Unit Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant research experience preferred. Prior experience with clinical prospective studies, trials and databases preferred. Prior experience working with pregnant patients preferred.
